HID Value Listener<br />

Receives values from an HID input defines in the Stream Setup window.<br />

An HID or Human Interface Device is a type of computer device that interacts<br />

directly with, takes input from, humans. The term HID most commonly refers to the<br />

USB-HID specification. Common HIDs are Keyboard, Mouse, Trackball,<br />

Touchpad, Pointing stick, Graphics tablet, Joystick, Gamepad, Analog stick,<br />

Webcam and Headset.<br />

Input Properties<br />

• port: Value corresponding to particular controller on a specific HID.<br />

Output Properties<br />

• value: Outputs a value received from an HID input device.<br />

• trigger: Sends a trigger each time a new value arrives.<br />

Hold Range<br />

Outputs the minimum and maximum value ever received on any input, and<br />

the range between the two.<br />

Input Properties<br />

• reset: Resets the min, max and range outputs.<br />

• inputs: Sets the number of value inputs, from 1 to 16.<br />

• value 1, value 2, etc.: Whenever a value is received at any value input, it is<br />

compared to the current minimum and maximum values. If it is less than<br />

minimum or greater than maximum, the corresponding output is set and the<br />

range output is updated to reflect the new range between minimum and<br />

maximum.<br />
