Teachers in Charge: Ms. Evey Pistola, Ms. Iliana TsiapouMs. Frangesca Frangou.Aims: The aim of our club was to educate our students onthe basics of a healthy, balanced diet. This was achievedby: Introducing our students to the main features ofvarious cross-cultural cuisines Identifying their main ingredients and ways ofcooking (visits to Mexican cuisine, Chinese,Cypriot and Greek) Observing the methods and processes involved inproducing food on a large scale (visit to Zorpas andSalt industry) Learning how to cook easy, nutritious and healthyfood and snacks (within school like pancakes andwaffles) Teaching students how to collaboratewith their fellow classmates and have fun!!!Teachers in Charge: Ms. Christina Pavlidou-Thomaides, Ms. Eleni ChristodoulouAims:The aim of the club was to develop the dancing skillsof the students in different types of dances such as HipHop, Break dance, Latin, Greek etc. During the firsttwo Club days, students had the chance to visit Fedra’sBallet School and learned the basic steps of ballet aswell as some of the history of ballet. Following that,on the third and fourth club day a dance teacher visitedour school and taught students Greek dances. Duringthe rest of the club days, students visited MamboDancing School where they learned different moderndances such as Hip Hop, Latin etc. There wereapproximately 20 members, mainly girls. All membersreally enjoyed the club and they were eager to learn anew dance every time.
