• Special measures at the beg<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> association: <strong>Species</strong> were fed separately.<br />
• Special behavioural observations (<strong>in</strong>tra- or <strong>in</strong>terspecific): No physical aggression<br />
but a golden lion tamar<strong>in</strong> was repeatedly disturb<strong>in</strong>g a male saki, which subsequently<br />
avoided to enter the exhibition enclosure. Sakis where subjects <strong>of</strong> a behavioural study for a<br />
diploma thesis. In earlier days Callithrix jacchus were also <strong>in</strong>tegrated <strong>in</strong> this association<br />
and they were observed to ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong> close contact to L. rosalia.<br />
• Problems and risks (animals, technical, vet. medical): Structural enrichment <strong>of</strong> enclosure<br />
may lead to difficulties <strong>in</strong> catch<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>dividual animals, e.g. for medical treatment.<br />
