Event Advertising – on task
Marketing and Ad. Sales – Solicited sponsorships for stage events and Friday night’s
entertainment. A push to sell ads for the program is underway. Sponsorships and ad sales need
to be completed by the end of July for inclusion in the Funfest program. Commemorative lapel
pins are on order and will be for sale at Friday market later this month.
Information Booth – on task
Vendors – we have 10 confirmed vendors. The Fire Department will assume a more active role in
planned activities this year.
Entertainment – Plans for Friday night entertainment are complete. A preliminary entertainment
schedule for Saturday and Sunday has been prepared.
Beer ‘n Brats – Chair TBD; We have received our for temporary health permit for the Beer ‘n
Brats tent, and have applied for the special occasion liquor licenses for Friday night’s
entertainment and the Beer ‘n Brats tent.
Poster Contest and Art walk – on task….posted due date July 15, 2007.
Concerns:
Activities – on task….seeking sponsorship to help defray the cost of a jumparoo and prizes for
the pet parade.
Flyover – Application for flyover on September 15, 2007 has been submitted to the FAA for
consideration.
