9.4.7 Select core flow search<br />

You can choose if you want a core flow search before every measurement or<br />

not. This function is only possible in the programs 1 -4. Enabling the<br />

core flow search is a global instrument setting valid for all programs<br />

and therefore described in chapter 9.2<br />

10 Maintenance<br />

The RASI 700 needs to the long value preservation only one very low maintenance<br />

need:<br />

• now and then: Cleaning of the probe and the probe tube<br />

• after every measurement: remove gas sampling tube from the RASI<br />

700, so that the hose can dry<br />

• after longer disuse load battery first and afterwards approx. all 4<br />

weeks<br />

11 PREPARATION FOR EACH MEASUREMENT<br />

11.1 Power supply<br />

The analyzer can be used with:<br />

1. with the internal EIUK battery (provided)<br />

2. with the EIUK battery charger (provided)<br />

External equipment may only be connected while the analyzer is switched<br />

off!<br />

11.2 Auto Off<br />

The instrument is automatically switched off after 60 minutes. During a<br />

measurement or a battery charging cycle the auto off is deactivated.<br />

11.3 Measurement with battery charger/battery charging<br />

When ever you connect the analyzer with external battery charger (90..260<br />

V / 50/ 60Hz ) the battery will be charged.<br />

Once the battery is fully charged the analyzer will switch to trickle<br />

charge mode.<br />

11.4 Measurement with battery (Battery monitoring)<br />

The battery symbol in the top right corner displays the current battery<br />

charge condition.<br />
