Measures of Children’s Mental Health & Psychological Wellbeing is a unique<br />

portfolio of assessments authored by highly-respected professionals from<br />

across the fields of educational and clinical development, designed to help<br />

all levels of school staff and clinical practitioners diagnose and respond to a<br />

child’s mental health needs <strong>quick</strong>ly.<br />

Children experiencing emotional or mental health issues are unlikely to be<br />

able to fulfil their potential in the classroom and schools have a duty to help<br />

with the early recognition and identification of these children. Responding<br />

<strong>quick</strong>ly with appropriate interventions and providing specialist help where<br />

necessary will provide these children with the support they need to achieve<br />

to the best of their ability.<br />

Measures of Children’s Mental Health & Psychological Wellbeing can be<br />

used by a range of staff including teachers, SENCOs and school nurses. It<br />

provides a range of simple, paper-based assessments that can be used to<br />

measure the development of a child’s social and emotional skills,<br />

individually or in a group setting.<br />
