The Think Ahead! series is a carefully researched programme which<br />

helps students develop their Personal Learning and Thinking Skills<br />

(PLTS) through drama, music and the visual arts. Each book includes<br />

10 motivating lessons, written by specialist teachers which can be used<br />

independently or together to create an effective approach to developing<br />

thinking across the arts curriculum.<br />

The development of PLTS is essential for meeting the three National<br />

Curriculum aims: becoming successful learners, confident individuals<br />

and responsible citizens. Think Ahead! provides the ideal learning<br />

opportunities and contexts for the effective development of these PLTS<br />

skills. As well as developing students' thinking, these extensively trialled<br />
