Sue tells Church that Granny pearl and Grandpa Jack, their spirit keeper and guide, had already popped in through a portal and visited them, but they had to leave as something urgent was happening in the spirit world. Pinky was reading, and mumbling under her breath about Ryan's<br />
toneless warbles, thinking where she would like to stick her finger to<br />
shut him up.<br />
Ryan turned down the volume when Church came in. He chuckled and<br />
asked,<br />
“Have you changed your mind about the name, boss?"<br />
“No,” said Church “We are not calling our daughter, Ryanette.”<br />
“Just a thought.”<br />
“Eve is a beautiful name,” said Pinky, “What does Granny Pearl think<br />
about becoming a Great-Grandmother?”<br />
“She and Jack have already seen Eve, They popped into the maternity<br />
theatre through a temporary Portal, and I think I heard crying.”<br />
“That was probably Jack,” Ryan chuckled.<br />
“Right!” said Church “I'll check my V-mail, grab some clothes for Sue,<br />
and head back to the hospital. Sue and Eve are now on the main ward...<br />
Do you two want to come?”<br />
“Too right,” said Pinky.<br />
Church walked into the spirit room, where a man was sitting in his<br />
chair.<br />
“Who are you?!” exclaimed Church, suddenly taken aback. “And how<br />
did you get in?”<br />
Church looked around for signs of a break-in. He looked at the smiling<br />
stranger and noticed something peculiar; he had no aura. This baffled<br />
Church and he wanted answers.
