Sue tells Church that Granny pearl and Grandpa Jack, their spirit keeper and guide, had already popped in through a portal and visited them, but they had to leave as something urgent was happening in the spirit world. “Good girl” he said aloud as the shark was now heading toward the<br />
coast.<br />
He guessed from her new course change, an approximate heading.<br />
“Where are you going?” he said aloud to the screen.<br />
The Skipper came into the control room and asked,<br />
“Where is she heading, Alan? “<br />
“I have no idea. So let’s just follow her,” said a confused Alan<br />
Dogmire.<br />
“Alan, look!” said Jenny as she saw the soncam image change. Its<br />
position shifted, it now focused on the flank of the animal.<br />
Alan looked at the image of the shark. He was stunned when he saw<br />
what Jenny pointed out.<br />
“Well that may answer one of my questions.” he announced. “However,<br />
it raises another...How is this possible?”<br />
The gifted ones suddenly feel a sense of foreboding. A broadcast came<br />
over the ship’s radio.<br />
“Vessel, Ocean Guardian, This is the Mexican coastguard. You are<br />
violating the exclusion zone of the Mexican government. Stop your<br />
engines and prepare to be boarded”<br />
“Damn,” said Alan.<br />
“There is nothing on radar Alan,” announced the skipper.<br />
“Turn on side sonar,” Alan ordered the V-com. The sonar's VDU<br />
appeared, but showed nothing.
