In the not too distant future<br />
Planet Earth has an uncontrollable virus, which, if no cure is found,<br />
threatens to destroy every living organism on the planet.<br />
The event will escalate, making this virulent disease unstoppable.<br />
Experts predict that if the virus remains unchecked; all life is expected<br />
to become extinct on the Planet in about 25 years. The reality, however,<br />
is more like five years.<br />
Thanks to the Saviour System, there is no longer any threat of a nuclear<br />
holocaust. Full-scale war was now a thing of the past. Apart from<br />
occasional terrorist atrocities by fanatics, people feel relatively safe.<br />
Due to major cutbacks in weapons’ technology and unnecessary<br />
military forces, vast amounts of funds were diverted to the world of<br />
medicine. Cures were being found for previous life-threatening<br />
diseases. Nano technology is now an everyday part of life. Technology<br />
and developments in computers and transportation has grown<br />
exponentially. The human population is now almost 10 billion, and<br />
growing rapidly.<br />
Over the past few years; the oceans vast array of marine life were<br />
pillaged mercilessly for food and sport. This over- fishing, along with<br />
pollution from hazardous chemicals, destroyed the fauna, leaving the<br />
waters of the vast oceans sour, barren, and devoid of life.<br />
The increasing demand for food now meant land animals had to be<br />
genetically created for human consumption. However, by messing with<br />
their genetic codes to produce bigger and fatter animals, they had
