Church feels overjoyed by the arrival of his baby daughter. His wife, Sue, looks even more radiant than ever as she suckles, Eve in the private maternity ward. The elated Church thinks that nothing can spoil this day, not even Ryan moaning as usual about being hungry. Sue tells Church that Granny pearl and Grandpa Jack, their spirit keeper and guide, had already popped in through a portal and visited them, but they had to leave as something urgent was happening in the spirit world. However, the astonishing conversation that Church will have with a strange entity on his arrival home was about to ruin his perfect day.

“Yes honey, sorry, I know that I'm late, but I will be right up. I have<br />

some wonderful news for you,” he laughed. “And the rest of the plan...”<br />

“You’d better come up, now” interrupted Anne.<br />

George could hear an anxious tone to her voice.<br />

“Is everything okay, Anne?" George asked.<br />

“I don’t know. Please come quickly,” pleaded Anne, now sounding<br />

distraught.<br />

“On my way” said George, hurrying upstairs.<br />

Anne was looking out of the window; she appeared bewildered and<br />

scared.<br />

“What is it honey. What’s wrong?”<br />

Anne didn’t reply. She took George’s hand and led him outside onto the<br />

lawn. George saw the cause of Anne’s distress as he looked up to the<br />

heavens.<br />

The night sky was unrecognisable. The now vivid luminescent blue sky<br />

had a large, bright, glowing, immense orb at its centre. George thought<br />

a vast solar system suddenly and inexplicably materialised around the<br />

planet Earth, with a translucent sun at its centre. The immense sphere<br />

seemed to have no mass or density, just a cloud of white energy, which,<br />

although terrified them, gave George and Anne a euphoric, peaceful<br />

feeling.<br />

“What do you think it is?” Anne asked.<br />

“I have no idea, honey,” said George and joked, “Maybe it's an alien<br />

invasion.” Although wondering whether his recent discovery may have
