Each Club shall forthwith give notice in writing to the Secretary if any Person identified in a<br />

notice given in accordance with Rule G.1.1 or Rule G.1.2 either directly or indirectly holds<br />

acquires or ceases to hold any Holding in the Club.<br />

The Board shall have power to suspend a Club if either directly or indirectly a Person acquires<br />

a Significant Interest in that Club while such Person either directly or indirectly holds any<br />

Holding in any class of Shares of another Club.<br />

At the discretion of the Board, a suspension may take effect forthwith or it may be postponed<br />

subject to such conditions as the Board may think fit to impose.<br />

Unless a suspension is postponed, a suspended Club shall not play in:<br />

G.10.1. any League Match; or<br />

G.10.2. any matches organised as part of the Games Programmes or matches in the<br />

Professional Development Leagues (as those terms are defined in the Youth<br />

Development Rules); or<br />

G.10.3. any of the competitions set out in Rules L.9 and L.10; or<br />

G.10.4. any other match.<br />

For the purposes of the League competition, the Board shall have power to determine how<br />

the cancellation of a League Match caused by the suspension of one of the Clubs which<br />

should have participated in it shall be treated.<br />

The Board shall have power to remove a Club’s suspension imposed under Rule G.8 upon<br />

being satisfied that the circumstances giving rise to it are no longer extant.<br />
