to Syria<br />
The first important matter that <strong>Hadrat</strong> <strong>Abu</strong> <strong>Bakr</strong> ra needed<br />
to attend to was the departure of an army. The Holy Prophet sa had<br />
ordered a force to go to Syria. This force was about to depart for<br />
Syria during the life of the Holy Prophet sa . However, it was still in<br />
Madinah when the Holy Prophet sa passed away, and its departure<br />
had been postponed.<br />
Now, events had suddenly changed; thousands of people<br />
had left Islam and become rebels. There was a danger that these<br />
rebellious groups would attack Madinah. During this risky time,<br />
