The Battle of<br />
Hunain<br />
After the victory of Makkah the Quraish had become<br />
Muslims, but the other Arab tribes were still disbelievers. The tribes<br />
Hawazin, Thaqif and some others set out with a very large force<br />
to attack the Muslims. The Holy Prophet sa set forth from Makkah<br />
to fight them. With him were ten thousand men who had come<br />
from Madinah, along with two thousand Makkans. The fighting<br />
took place in the valley of Hunain. The disbelievers’ attack was so<br />
forceful that in the beginning the Muslims panicked, and on the<br />
