A Suffolk
Farmer’s
Legacy
BY THE HARMONY CENTRE
What was once a cowshed is now The Harmony Centre,
a beautiful building situated on Walpole Hatch Farm in
the heart of the Suffolk countryside.
The centre opened in June
2001 and was created by David
Gillett and Jacqui Beacon who
were leaders and teachers in
environmental energy research
and balancing, and has been built
with some of the most up to date
environmental technology of the
time including triple glazing and
ground source heating.
The centre is not only environmentally friendly
it also has a calmness about it. Everyone who
enters the building comments on how peaceful
the place feels.
Over the years the Harmony Centre has steadily
grown into a well-known and well established
complementary health centre boasting eighteen
therapists and teachers. On average 500 people
pass through the centre each month taking
advantage of the healing benefits of some of the
28 different therapies and 8 classes available. Not
bad for an old cowshed.
People are increasingly taking responsibility
for their own wellbeing by turning towards
complementary therapy for a more natural, drug
free approach. They come to improve wellness,
learn how to relax, feel energised, and deal
with mental/emotional issues. There are also
therapies offered here that help with bodily pain,
and classes that improve flexibility, strength and
mindfulness.
Lucietta is our receptionist available five days
a week to make bookings and help with any
queries. Everyone is welcome at the Harmony
Centre and we are here to help you feel and be
the best you can be. 01986 784500.
