2016 ACPA ANNUAL CONVENTION CONVENTION GENERAL INFO (CONT.) Specific to Montréal: The city of Montréal has actively implemented the Montréal Community Sustainability Development Plan (2010-2015). This plan was developed around five orientations: Improving air quality and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, ensuring the quality of residential environments, practicing responsible resource management, adopting solid sustainable development practices, and improving protection of biodiversity, natural environments and green spaces. Montréal has several objectives including: reducing Montréal’s greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2020 as compared with 1990, improving quality of runoff water, recover 80% of recyclables and organic materials, and increasing the use of green products in building city infrastructure. This app performs optimally whether or not there’s an internet connection. When connected, the app downloads updates (such as a schedule or room change). Once downloaded, all of the data is stored locally on the device so it’s accessible even if there is no Wi-Fi. SOCIAL MEDIA COMMAND CENTER (SMCC) The SMCC is your hub for checking out what your peers are saying online at the convention, a place to recharge your devices and yourself, a technical support station, and a place to learn about new software and technology.
