The Murray–Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) recognises and acknowledges that the<br />

Traditional Owners and their Nations in the Murray–Darling Basin have a deep cultural,<br />

social, environmental, spiritual and economic connection to their lands and waters.<br />

The Murray Lower Darling Rivers Indigenous Nations, Northern Basin<br />

<strong>Aboriginal</strong> Nations and the MDBA are very appreciative for the guidance<br />

and contributions to this project by Dr Gail Tipa. Her insights and<br />

wisdom were invaluable.<br />

Intellectual property statement<br />

Consistent with recognising <strong>Aboriginal</strong> intellectual property rights, all<br />

raw data, analysis of the information and reports generated by the<br />

participants in this project have been returned to each relevant Nation.<br />
