Being slightly obsessed over my skincare
regime, I was excited, yet slightly nervous.
Vicki started by face-mapping my profile.
This involved having a thorough look at
my skin and analysing any problem areas.
Thanks to a convenient little breakout the
night before, this was quite clearly visible on
my chin! I was in the right place and Vicki
assured me it wasn’t anything concerning.
After this, I layed on the bed, - which, as it
was heated, immediately made me want to
sleep! - whilst Vicki began the
treatment. It started with the PreCleanse
which enabled Vicki to lift any make up
and dirt from my skin. I had actually not
bothered with my make up that morning
and braved the office bare faced for a few
hours! The initial cleansing therefore felt
like a really deep clean. Next came the
exfoliation... something that up until last
year, I was completely and utterly obsessed
with. I was then advised that this was in fact
making my skin worse, and dropped from
an almost twice daily routine to just once a
week. I immediately saw a difference. Vicki
used the Daily Microfoliant mixed with the
Multivitamin Thermofoliant. Exfoliation is
actually great for enhancing the
performance of your other skin products,
such as your moisturiser as it wipes away
any dead skin cells on the surface.
Next was the steaming and softening of
my pores, to make way for the extraction!
(Gulp!) Although slightly painful, I quite
enjoyed it. I knew Vicki was doing some
good and unblocking any clogged up pores.
My skin was relatively clear except for the
unruly breakout on my chin and one in
between my brows, meaning I wasn’t in pain
for too long. After this, Vicki spread the
Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque over
my face and neck. The nutrient-rich
formula meant this was great for replenishment
and helping to repair and hydrate my
skin. Whilst this was working its magic, Vicki
gave me a foot massage. The treatment
finished with a spritz of UltraCalming Mist,
Skin Smoothing Cream and Skin Perfect
Primer. Vicki also used the Intensive Eye
Repair and the Renewal Lip Complex.
My skin immediately looked brighter and
my breakout had certainly been tamed!
Vicki has recommended I go for a facial
every four weeks, up the SPF I’m using and
also use a targeted moisturiser for around
my eyes. I’m also upping the exfoliation to
twice a week, to ensure my moisturiser is
maximised.
