The hospitality exchange and social networking<br />
platform is much more than sleeping in a house of an<br />
individual you met online. It is about staying with a local,<br />
immersing yourself in local culture and discovering things<br />
and places to eat with the assistance of a local guide who also<br />
happens to offer you free accommodation. The website does<br />
not compel its members to sleep on couches offered by other<br />

travellers. One simply has to register as a<br />

a host has been found, make contact and it is up<br />
to the host if he or she wishes to offer you a room,<br />
the floor or perhaps a couch. It is an entirely<br />
free network for touring cyclists nationwide.<br />
