At Chippendale Hearing Services, we pride ourselves on

Chippendale and Sandra Neumann have a wealth of experience
spanning over 35 years, having worked in local NHS audiology
departments, social services, the private sector and a national
charity for deaf people.

Time for understanding
Most people ignore their ears until something changes. Explaining how
hearing loss or ringing in the ears can affect each person is complex
and needs specialist professional guidance. At Chippendale Hearing our
customers range from 16 to 98 years young and frequently comment
on how we gave them time to explain their own situation and needs by
asking various questions, thus allowing each person to make informed
choices.
Here’s a comment from someone who recently visited us:
“I have recently suffered from hearing problems as well as tinnitus in
my left ear which means that I have a constant ringing. Having
always had perfectly good hearing, it was a very stressful and

frightening time for me and the treatment which I received from the
NHS did nothing to put my mind at rest. It was very much a ‘one in
one out’ approach and I came away feeling very upset and isolated.
However my visits to both Pat and Sandra at Chippendale Hearing
were a completely different experience. They took the time to listen
to me and were extremely caring and helpful in their approach. They
talked me through what to expect during the hearing test and after
this they carefully explained what was happening in my ear and what
I could expect in the future. I didn’t feel as isolated and I know that
they are always at the end of the phone should I need to speak to

We offer a holistic approach and a one stop shop service of information,
hearing tests and/or specialist equipment and ear moulds for protection
against noise - customers comment that they absolutely love the ACS
motorcyclist moulds and musician moulds with appropriate filters.
As specialist professionals we are expanding our service and will soon
be opening additional consulting rooms on the first floor of 675
Edenfield Road Norden Rochdale.
