Guided tours by the author through the exhibition “Pupin –
From the Physical to the Spiritual Reality” are organized every
Saturday from 13:00 and 15:00 hours, while professional guided
tours are on Wednesdays from 17:00 hours.

attract attention of the audience.
REALITY OF A LIVE MUSEUM
The visitors have complete experience
at this exhibition during the guided tours
through it, every Saturday, when the Historical
Museum of Serbia in only one day
is visited by up to one thousand people.
Aleksandra Ninković Tašić, the author of
the exhibition and Vice President of Education
and Research Society “Mihajlo Pupin”,
explains this with the fact that the rich
content was this time really brought close
to visitors:
– The exhibition does not wait for an interested
individual to come here, ready to
patiently read valuable information. The information
here will come by itself. The texts
are accompanied by dozens of sounds, the
man runs the installation with his very presence,
he observes, but also feels the content.
You can hear Pupin, stand next to his mother
sending him to the path of knowledge,
pass by Idvor meadow with cattle, watch the
stars, rotate the periscope, discover Pupin’s
work in “augmented reality”. Children come
with their school, and then they also bring
their moms and dads, who then come with
their friends. This is a living museum, and
the crowd in it, children’s voices and many
questions, make it a fantastic place.
When asked whether the visitors are interested
in some aspects of life and work of
Mihajlo Pupin, which may not be covered by
the exhibition, Aleksandra Ninković Tašić
replies that for her it was the most difficult
to choose from the abundance of content for
the exhibition, although she had available
2,000 square meters of space. Guided tours
have introduced a new dimension to the exhibition,
including a live word.
– Live word is always different, with
many anecdotes and details which were not
included in the exhibition. With a very nice
conversation about Pupin, visitors get a full
portrait of the scientist, they feel his inspiration,
his torments and successes – concludes
the author of the exhibition.
Satisfaction with the great success of the
interactive exhibition on Mihajlo Pupin is
also shared by people in the company “Telekom
Srbija”, which has recognized the importance
of this approach to life’s work of
one of the greatest Serbian scientists.
In addition to the audience in Serbia, by
all accounts, the exhibition “Pupin – From
the Physical to the Spiritual Reality” will also
be seen by people abroad. This exhibition is
designed as a traveling exhibition, although
probably not to the same extent. According
to the Director of the Historical Museum of
Serbia Dr. Dušica Bojić, they have already received
invitations from several countries that
have great respect for Mihajlo Pupin, and
who are familiar with the way in which this
particularly significant exhibition has been
organized conceptually and technically. s
