at the ATP list (8,725 points advantage over Andy Murray). He
has the biggest number
of consecutively
won tournament
on the US Masters
Tour (Indian
Wells, Miami). He
has been collecting
records and years
of victories, and
behind all this is
enormous gift and
just as enormous
amount of work.

Monica Bellucci, holding the Serbian Language Grammar
in her hands, says: “Let us nurture Serbian language!” This

great public attention at the end of March. The Italian film
diva thus supported a
campaign for the preservation
of Serbian
language and alphabet,
which is jointly implemented
by the Secretariat
for Culture Serbian
capital, the Library and
the Faculty of Philology.

Sremski Karlovci and Novi Sad
marked the 192 nd anniversary of
the birth of Branko Radičević, a
famous Serbian poet from the
19 th century. “Branko’s Spring
Days of 2016” also took place
recently in the Zemun Gymnasium.
>> In late March, a memorial plaque
dedicated to the great Serbian
actress Ružica Sokić was
mounted on the house where
she lived in Krunska Street in
Belgrade.
>> Media desk was opened recen t-
ly in the Belgrade Film Archive,
in order to support young Serbian
artists who apply for financial
support from the European
Commission within the
program “Creative Europe”. This
European program has a budget
of over 800 million euros and
supports the production, distribution
and promotion of films
and documentaries, television
dramas, and works in the field of
new media.
>> Literary magazine and school
periodical Danica for Youth was
presented on 3 March in the
House of Vuk’s Endowment, for
the eighth consecutive year, organized
by the Children’s Cultural
Centre.
>> In the shipyard in Perlez, near
Zrenjanin, on 31 March, the largest
ship for maritime navigation
ever built in Serbia was launched.
It is worth two million Euros,
and was made for a contracting
authority from Norway.
