that time, and included in indictments and
verdicts to those who were talking about it.
FROM BROTHERLY LOVE
The fact that Serdar Janko and his heroes
saved the Serbian army withdrawing
through Montenegro and Albania to
Greece did not serve somebody’s interests,
and it seems it is so even today. These and
such people who are serving demons could
not, and cannot understand Serbian determination
and courage that adorned Janko
Vukotić and his warriors, and even less
could they understand that exactly God-
Man Christ was giving strength to their
courage, Christ who was born that Christmas
on Mojkovac and to whom they gave
themselves as offerings, instead of gold and
incense. Thus empowered newborn Christ
Child, strengthening each other’s faith, they
went into the battle, into death, not fearing
for a moment the fact that the enemy was
much better armed and far more numerous.
The goal of these brave knights was
to save the brothers, and they succeeded,
literally executing then on Mojkovac the
Christ’s commandment that says: there is
no greater love than this, than when one
gives his life for his fellow man (v. Jn 15.13).
Therefore, judging by the love of God and
one’s neighbor, and not by the number of
participants and war strategy, this battle
was won, and is one of the largest that
Serbs have ever waged.
Serdar Janko Vukotić and his heroes,
imbued with the Lazar’s holy vow on
Kosovo, chose a sacrifice for which Heaven
is deserved – and they deserved it. They
opted for the Kingdom of Heaven, the
heavenly Serbia, but not in the sense that
is today largely misunderstood by some,
but as a spiritual commitment to following
Prince Lazar and other Serbian martyrs
and saints from our lineage, headed
by Saint Sava, who had earlier become
citizens of the eternal Kingdom of Christ.
On Mojkovac, they resisted the powerful
enemy with a desire to win evil with
good, and, like Christ accepted the cross
and the suffering, aware that the Lord did
not go to Golgotha to be defeated but to
win and – he won, because of which “The
Empire of Glory” is inscribed on its cross.
That is why the knights of Mojkovac won
and joined the glory of the Kingdom of
Heaven.
The said Academy in “Sava“Center
pointed to the fact, and was evidence that,
no manner how much the forces of darkness
tried and are trying to erase this battle
from people’s memory, it will never be
forgotten, not only because its participants
did not feel sorry for themselves sacrificing
their lives for the brothers, but also because,
and primarily because with that sacrifice
they showed they are in Christ. And
that is why they are alive and their deed
will live forever, because Christ, whom
they carried in their hearts, is always alive
and invincible.
I am grateful to everyone who contributed
their work and expertise and in
any other way for this Academy to be so
exceptionally organized and for making
us so proud that evening with such a rich
