Since its inception, 60 years ago, to date,
it has been successfully linking and coordinating
higher education in the field of business
education with modern requirements
of economy and society, always giving new
answers to old questions. Focusing on domestic
and global trends in the multidisciplinary
field of science, the School keeps
promoting the concept of applied studies
and dual education, developing skills and
abilities of students required for practical
work. Recognizing the importance of practical
knowledge and experience for further
professional development of its students,
and the need for their professional advancement
during the studies, the School has been
building a dual system, thus developing a
fruitful cooperation with successful companies
and enterprises. In this way, it allows its
students to have professional practice, fully
efficiently directing them for their future
professional career and fully prepares them
for the labor market. On this road and to
this end, cooperation was establish, among
others, with leading financial institutions
such as the National Bank of Serbia and the
Belgrade Stock Exchange, where in April of
this year, ninety of our students attended
and successfully completed the interactive
educational course “Technical and Fundamental
analysis with simulation of trading”,
where they obtained certificates of education
in stock exchange operations in Serbia.
This and all other activities in teaching
and in student internships, contribute fully
to the raising of the level of professional
qualifications of students and, of course, the
reputation of Belgrade Business School, as a
leader in business education.
THE POWER OF FEEDBACK
In line with its tradition, the School
continues keeping pace with European

Aware of the fact that visual identity is important for improvement
of the overall quality, it is necessary to refurbish the facade
and area in front of the School, as well as the teachers’ room,
which will bear the name of the former director of the College of
Economics (the precursor of Belgrade Business School), Professor
Nebojša Potkonjak, as the most deserving for the construction
of the impressive buildings of the existing school building in the
city center. Also, as a sign of gratitude and respect towards the
late professor and director, we will also mount a commemorative
plaque in the lobby of the building.

programs of specialist studies, show unabated
interest and intellectual curiosity
to complete their study exactly at Belgrade
Business School. In line with this is also the
power of feedback we receive from the labor
market, from companies and organizations
that employ our students, as exceptional
staff, which makes us proud.
The year behind us was marked by numerous
events, among other things a series
of public lectures by prominent professors
and experts from the country and abroad,
as well as the round table organized by
our school. Attendance at the lectures and
round tables testify about the significance,
heterogeneity and relevance of or topics,
and students’ interest confirms this. Also,
in April this year the School was the logistical
and technical support to the European
Association of Institutions in Higher
Education (EURASHE), which organized
its 26 th annual conference entitled “Centers
of cooperation striving for excellence: professional
higher education and the world
of work”. The conference was attended by
150 representatives of vocational schools
from Europe and about 70 representatives
of vocational colleges in Serbia. Eight of
our female students, with teachers of English
and IT, presented the School in the
best possible way and received recognition
from the organizers and participants
for their work. It is therefore not surprising
that the generation enrolled 2015/2016
academic year is the best for success in the
history of this School. Grade point average
of students enrolled in the past year is 3.53
which means that very good students are
studying in our school.

Respecting tradition and fostering the already
built values, we turn to the future and
in this regard, special emphasis is placed on
