The circuit diagram is shown in Fig. 8.46. In this circuit, the mean value of the load voltage in greater than that of source voltage. When the switch is closed, current builds up to give stored magnetic every in the inductor. When the switch is opened, the current transferes to the capacitor and load via the cliode.
