The summer holidays are now upon
us and all the Rainbows are looking
forward to theirs; let’s hope for some
good weather.

Harmony Lincs
Barbershop Chorus
Our main chorus is recognised these days
as a forty-strong group but we also attract
bookings for a smaller chorus, ideal for
smaller venues and special occasions.
We were delighted to take part in a live
music event, ‘Party in the Car Park’, at
The Fox and Hounds in Reepham in
June and, more recently, to provide the
entertainment for a wedding reception in
Branston Hall.

Looking ahead we have two special
events coming up. Our ‘Learn to Sing in
Harmony’ course starts on Tuesday 13th
September and continues on 20th and
27th September and 4th October. The
course will be held at the Priory City of
Lincoln Academy, Skellingthorpe Road,
Lincoln, LN6 0EP. Each week the course
will run from 7.30 to 8.30 pm. Full

On Friday 18th November we stage our
‘Voices in Harmony’ show at the Terry
O’Toole Theatre in North Hykeham.
This will showcase our full chorus
who are really looking forward to the
event following their recent success
in the National Barbershop Chorus
Championships.
We are delighted to confirm that two of
the top quartets in the country will be
joining us that evening ensuring the very
best in four-part harmony singing. They
are ‘Finest Hour’, who were crowned
national quartet champions in May and
‘Emerald Guard’ who were previous
winners of the title. Tickets will be on
sale from the Terry O’Toole Theatre box
office from early September.
