My vision of hope and the
next Labour Government
I have a serious plan for troubled times – a plan which has
its focus on winning the next general election in order to
rebuild and transform Britain.
At the heart of my strategy for a Labour Government is
a plan to grow our movement by organising communities
and using the most advanced techniques online and
offline. We must make Labour a living, breathing
movement in every corner of our country that gains the
trust of the British people and gives them real hope of a
better future.
Our overriding task is winning the next general election,
so that we can begin putting our progressive polices into
action. The growth in our party’s membership has been
incredible. Labour is now the largest political party in
Europe. Our greatest asset is our members, who will carry
our message across the country. I will make sure that our
membership is engaged and campaigning on the ground
to spread the message that no one, and nowhere, will ever
be left behind under a Labour Government.
The next Labour Government will make Britain thrive
again and give it a chance to build strong foundations. I
want to create a million homes and a million jobs across
the UK to help guarantee a decent standard of living for all.

Labour will build a Britain that works for everyday
people, rewarding their hard work and saving the NHS
that they rely on. The Labour Party created the NHS and
we are so proud of it; we will give our all into restoring
the damage that the Tory party has done to it. We will
end health service privatisation and bring services into a
secure, publicly-provided NHS – as it should be. We will
integrate the NHS and social care for older and disabled
people, funding dignity across the board and finally giving
our mental health services the time and money it so
desperately needs.
The next general election will be a contest between
the Tory Party austerity machine and its powerful allies,
and the social movement and trade unions underpinning
our reinvigorated Labour Party. That means every member
campaigning for every vote, using the skills and experience
of our membership to deliver our strong Labour message:
Britain needs a Labour Government focussed on delivering
for the whole country.

Working together, we can rebuild Britain as a country
where everyone plays a part, and everyone has a say. That
is both the country we need to be and the only way we
can succeed.
