Taking up the challenge<br />

Aims : The following challenges in primary care will be discussed: getting the right diagnosis; assessing the whole patient, especially in<br />

cases of multiple morbidities; changing patient behaviour (adherence, smoking); dealing with changing systems/organisations; and getting<br />

our head around the future (particularly with regard to personalised medicine). The second session of the day addresses four approaches to<br />

addressing challenges.<br />
