Documentation standards for Intensive Behavioral Intervention services include the following:<br />

Aversive techniques as referenced within 460 IAC 6<br />

Interventions that may reinforce negative behavior, such as Gentle Teaching<br />
Group activities<br />
Services furnished to a minor by parent(s), stepparent(s), or legal guardian<br />
Services furnished to a participant by the participant’s spouse<br />
Therapy services furnished to the participant within the educational/school setting or as a<br />
component of the participant’s school day<br />

Service Definition<br />
Music Therapy services are services provided for the systematic application of music in the treatment of the<br />
physiological and psychosocial aspects of an individual’s disability and focusing on the acquisition of<br />
nonmusical skills and behaviors.<br />
