Talks: Women’s Leadership<br />
<strong>INCAE</strong> emphasizes the need to promote initiatives that include women in managerial positions, as board members,<br />
and on commissions within companies and business-supporting organizations, create gender equality awareness<br />
among private and public sector leadership, and provide materials on gender equality to human resources<br />
management processes.<br />
Under this initiative, <strong>INCAE</strong> has given talks to various multinationals (P&G, Coca Cola, General Foods, Intel, Amazon,<br />
Scotiabank, Walmart, Citibank, Pfizer, and others), and have been asked to provide conference and seminars:<br />
• Women in Costa Rican Private Enterprise. Organized by the Costa Rican Chambers and Private Enterprise<br />
Associations Union (UCCAEP).<br />
• The Future of Central America: Opportunities and Challenges. Organized by <strong>INCAE</strong> and the David Rockefeller Center<br />
for Latin American Studies at Harvard University.<br />
• Gender and Human Development in the Private Sector: A Fundamental Relationship. Organized by the Honduran<br />
Council of Private Enterprise’s (COHEP) Gender Committee and sponsored by the International Labor Organization<br />
(ILO).<br />
• Leadership of Enterprising Women. Keynote address at the Third EmprendeMujer Forum in El Salvador, organized<br />
by Vital Voices.<br />
• Strengthening Women’s Leadership. This seminar covered the topic of understanding why leadership is necessary<br />
for an organization’s present and future competitiveness, and identifying the main barriers that must be confronted<br />
or overcome to successfully occupy leadership positions.<br />
• How we can develop our competencies and succeed in a male dominated industry. Talk to the Association<br />
de Mujeres del Sector Bancario en Costa Rica.<br />
• The competencies women need to succeed to top management positions. Several talks online.<br />
• Collaborative Leadership and Gender Diversity. The key success factor to reach competitiveness in the<br />
XXI Century. Full time MBA and Online Talks.<br />
