INVERLOCHY CASTLE
Built in 1863 by the first Lord Abinger,
Inverlochy remained a private residence
until1969 when it was converted from a
family home to a luxury country house hotel.
ln September 1873, during a trip to
Balmoral, Queen Victoria spent a week at
Inverlochy sketching and painting where she
wrote in her diaries "I never saw a lovelier or
more romantic spot".
The frescoed ceiling of the Great Hall,
Venetian crystal chandeliers and the
understated elegance of the drawing room
reflect the relaxed and tranquil atmosphere of
a bygone era. Dinner is an experience to
savour in any of the three dining rooms, each
decorated with period and elaborate
furniture presented as gifts to Inverlochy
Castle from the King of Norway. The menu
features modern British cuisine, internationally
recognised by all major guides.

KINLOCH LODGE
Kinloch Lodge is set in one of Scotland's most stunning island
