Magnificent Lake Garda & Venice<br />
Lake Garda is the largest and most enchanting of the Italian Lakes and has<br />
been a popular choice with holiday makers for over a century. The southern<br />
part of the lake is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves and beautiful<br />
lakeside towns contrasting with the dramatic fjord-like northern end of the<br />
lake surrounded by towering mountains and cliffs. Our holiday offers<br />
excursions to Venice, Verona and the Dolomites along with an optional<br />
cruise on Lake Garda itself.<br />
DAY 1: Morning collection from your home to join<br />
our coach for the drive to Dover for a late morning<br />
ferry crossing to Calais. We continue through France<br />
to Germany arriving at our overnight hotel in time<br />
for evening meal.<br />
DAY 2: We continue our journey into the mountains<br />
of Austria and across the Brenner Pass into Italy,<br />
arriving on the shores of Lake Garda in time for<br />
evening meal and a stay of 6 nights.<br />
DAY 3: A free day to relax by the lake.<br />
DAY 4: Today we have an included excursion to<br />
the magnificent city of Venice, an experience not<br />
to be missed.<br />
DAY 5: A day excursion into the spectacular North<br />
Italian Alps to experience the majestic scenery of<br />
this stunning mountain range.<br />
DAY 6: A leisurely coach excursion to the southern<br />
end of Lake Garda where you may take a boat<br />
cruise on the lake (fare approx. €18) which will<br />
provide you with some never to be forgotten views.<br />
DAY 7: A free day. Alternatively, join the coach for an<br />
excursion to Verona, with its famous amphitheatre.<br />
DAY 8: We leave Italy for the return drive across<br />
Austria and Germany to our overnight hotel arriving<br />
in time for evening meal.<br />

base to explore the stunning Garda area. Spacious<br />
