Jersey by Air<br />
Jersey is the most southerly of the Channel Islands situated in the Bay of<br />
St. Michael, just 14 miles from the Normandy coast of France, the island<br />
enjoys a generally delightful mild climate with better than average sunshine.<br />
The 46 miles of varied and beautiful coastline have some of the finest<br />
beaches to be found in Europe with broad sweeps of golden sand, rocky<br />
coves and hidden bays all surrounded by a clear clean sea. For those who<br />
like to explore, Jersey has an abundance of interesting places to visit including<br />
St. Helier, the historic capital of the island where you will find excellent<br />
shopping in the narrow traffic free streets and remember there is no VAT<br />
to worry about. Attractions on the island not to be missed include the<br />
splendid Mount Orgueil Castle, the War Tunnels, Hamptone Country Life<br />
Museum, the Living Legend and the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust<br />
at Jersey Zoo.<br />
DAY 1: Home collection for the journey to Gatwick<br />
airport and your flight to St. Helier. On arrival in<br />
St. Helier just over an hour later, a <strong>Galloway</strong><br />
representative on the island will meet you. He or she<br />
will give you a welcome pack and visit your hotel<br />
during your stay to ensure your holiday enjoyment.<br />
DAYS 2-4 OR DAYS 2-7: At leisure in Jersey to<br />
enjoy your hotel amenities or explore the island<br />
(car hire can be arranged through your<br />
representative). During your stay, we include<br />
a full day Island Tour by local coach.<br />
DAY 5 OR 8: Regretfully, we must leave our<br />
holiday island for our late morning flight<br />
back to England where our door to door<br />
service will be waiting to return you to<br />
