Take a guided hike through the Santa Rosa<br />

& San Jac<strong>in</strong>to Mounta<strong>in</strong>s National Monument!<br />

See excellent views of the Coachella<br />

Valley, and unique desert plants and animals,<br />

<strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g a chance at bighorn sheep<br />

and desert tortoises. We will hike either<br />

the Randall Henderson or Art Smith Trail,<br />

depend<strong>in</strong>g on the group, rang<strong>in</strong>g from 2-4<br />

miles long and 300-800 feet <strong>in</strong> elevation.<br />

Br<strong>in</strong>g 2 liters of water and closed-toed<br />

shoes.<br />

On Thursday, March 16th from 4:30-5:30<br />

p.m. the UCCE Master Gardeners will give<br />

a talk about “Grow<strong>in</strong>g Citrus: How To’s for<br />

the Desert.” <strong>This</strong> is one <strong>in</strong> a series of classes<br />

on every third Thursday of the month<br />

at the Cathedral City Library. The speaker<br />

will be UCCE Master Gardener Susan<br />

Kr<strong>in</strong>gs. The library is located at 33520<br />
