Competition
Win A firepod Pizza
oven worth £445
Several years ago David Coward returned from working in the
Italian Alps wishing he could cook pizzas like the ones he had been
enjoying out there. After speaking to his business partner, Tim, the
pair endeavoured to find a suitable product, however they wanted it to
be hassle-free to use, portable and affordable. Eventually David and Tim
realised that the only way to get exactly what they wanted was to design
their own, so, after much research they appointed Jedco of Weybridge
to help with the design process. After over three years of testing and
perfecting, they are now manufacturing their first batch of Firepods.
The Firepod is a portable outdoor pizza oven which converts to a
griddle BBQ and heater for Lava Stones for ‘hot rock’ cooking at your
table. With the special pizza stones in place and the lid on, The Firepod
is a fantastic pizza oven – very quick to reach cooking temperature and
only a few minutes to cook your perfect authentic pizzas. For Hot Lava
Stone Cooking simply replace the pizza stones with the Lava Stone, heat
it up in your Firepod, lift the stone out and place on the board, then
take to your table for cooking ‘Hot Rock’ style, indoors or out. Replace
the lava stones with the reversible griddle – ridged on one side flat on
the other – and you are ready to cook in the Firepod’s third function!
The Firepod is currently available at thefirepod.com.
