Isn’t it fantastic to have some glorious sunshine? Even<br />
just the slightest peek of blue sky is enough to lift the<br />
winter blues in anticipation of unleashing the summer<br />
wardrobe. Let’s hope it sticks around for a while!<br />
This issue is home to our annual <strong>Gardens</strong> Supplement<br />
– possibly my favourite of the year. Alongside our regular<br />
contributors, we’ve interviewed TV favourites Danny Clarke<br />
and Mark Lane ahead of their appearances in the brand<br />
new Garden Hub at <strong>Wealden</strong> <strong>Times</strong> Midsummer Fair<br />
this June. We can’t wait to see them in action – you can<br />
get a preview of all that’s on offer at the Fair from page<br />

We’ve photographed two beautifully contrasting interiors this<br />
month – a quirky revamped almshouse and a quintessentially<br />
traditional <strong>Wealden</strong> farmhouse. See how the owners have<br />
preserved the integrity of the buildings on pages 56 and 102.<br />
In the spirit of Easter, we visit Rosemary Shrager’s Cookery<br />
School in Tunbridge Wells to photograph a three-course<br />
celebratory lunch that she created in collaboration with her<br />
apprentices. Try out her special recipes at home from page 156.<br />
