The Mindbenders were
the first to record this
song, and Collins’ was
a cover. Unlike the
Mindbenders’ version,
which was an upbeat,
guitar-based pop song,
Collins’ was a slow ballad
with prominent piano and
strings.

On the British TV series,
This Is Your Life, Chris de

key song for his new film,
Notting Hill. He suggested
this to Ronan Keating,

with Irish boy band,

Tonight
This was featured in the
Disney movie, The Lion
King, when the main
character, Simba the Lion,
falls in love with his
childhood friend, Nala.
This version was
performed by the film's
voice actors while the
Elton John version plays
over the end credits.

It is the third single
released by the
contemporary folk artist.

Count On Me
This country-tinged
friendship tune was
written by Bruno Mars for
his debut studio album,

It for You
This song is featured in
the Kevin Costner movie,
Robin Hood: Prince Of
Thieves, where it plays
over the credits. Initially,
this song didn’t get
Hollywood approval, as
the film company wanted
it to have instrumentation
in line with the films’ era
– lutes, mandolins and
other such. The film
company relented, but
buried the song midway
through the credits.

This was voted the best
single of 1987 in a Rolling
Stone magazine readers’
poll. It became the
anthem of the characters,
Ross and Rachel, on the
hugely popular sitcom,
Friends, after it was used
in an episode where Ross
dedicates it to Rachel on
the radio.

Lady
Lionel Richie wrote this
song, especially for
Rogers.
