Use the National Virtual Translation Center Language<br />

Technology and Resource Nexus (LANTERN).<br />

DLI refresher and immersion training to improve<br />

linguist pr<strong>of</strong>iciency in the target language to meet<br />

the 2/2 requirement and, in some cases (as for the<br />

National Security Agency), a 3/3 requirement.<br />

Expand Language Training Detachments (LTDs) to<br />

more locations making them easily accessible to military<br />

linguists.<br />

Increase development <strong>of</strong> tactical language products<br />

such as the USAIC&FH Language MOS Enhancement<br />

Program and the DLI Language Familiarization<br />

training; translation diagnostic aids from private companies<br />
