Tracking
Master Tracker 2013-2017
“Master Tracker” (MT) was added to the ASCA Tracking titling program in 2012. To achieve the Master Tracker title, a
dog must earn three ASCA Tracking Dog (TD) or Tracking Dog Urban (TDU) titles (or a combination of TD and TDU titles),
and two ASCA Tracking Dog Excellent (TDX) titles. The MT challenge keeps dedicated trainers and talented dogs training
and exhibiting in the sport they love for many seasons, possibly for the working lifetime of the dog. The ASCA Tracking
Committee chose to place the MT title after the registered name of the dog because the committee envisioned developing an
advanced version of the urban tracking challenge, similar to TDX for field tracking. At a future date, an ASCA Champion
Tracker title may be available for placement in front of the dog’s registered name.
To date, Donna Highstreet’s “Rubi MT,” Lora Cox’s “Ranger MT,” Jean Danver’s “Chaps MT,” Linda Ivy’s “Flash MT,” and
Dianna Lomarandier’s “Dreamer” have earned the ASCA MT title, and we celebrate their wins over the years:
