Day 4<br />
Ski Day<br />
A short drive takes everyone to Wanaka, another lakeside ski resort<br />
town. Wanaka has pure mountain air, crisp sunny days and breathtaking<br />
vistas. New Zealand’s largest skiable terrain offers students<br />
the freedom to explore wide open spaces.<br />
Wanaka gives students the opportunity to do what they love;<br />
the scenery; the space among the like-minded; the welcome<br />
from people who understand; the energy and the daring; the<br />
crystal water…<br />
…It’s about the time to breathe, take it all in, feel carefree, full<br />
of life, and young people will realise it will stay with them long<br />
after they have left.<br />
Queenstown to Wanaka<br />
The day is spent at Cardrona with another lesson in the morning<br />
to build on the skills learnt the day before. Cardrona has wide<br />
open beginner trails for all ages and abilities, and has an<br />
excellent training ground for new skiers and snowboarders,<br />
and world class trails and pipes for the more advanced.<br />
A cold day deserves a warm hearty dinner, which will be enjoyed<br />
at a local restaurant to warm up from the inside out!<br />
