3K tries to achieve more<br />

businesses in alternative<br />

markets<br />

Would you inform us about your production<br />

facilities?<br />

Born with cooperation of two firms, 3K serves with<br />

its knowledge accumulation and experience. 3K produces<br />

on average daily 6000 color charts and folders, and nearly<br />

4000 cardboards. The firm performs the business very well<br />

with lots of brands both at home and abroad. Güneş Gözek,<br />

official of the firm stated: “We are able to produce high<br />

quality products and actually not being expensive in terms<br />

of quality. This means we are competitive.” We conducted<br />

an interview with Ms. Gözek about the firms’ activities and<br />

future plans.<br />

Would please tell us briefly your firm’s<br />

background?<br />

Our firm was newly born with cooperation of the two firms<br />

in 3K sector, and serves to foremost firms of the sector<br />

alongside the knowledge accumulation and experience of<br />

long years.<br />

How about your product groups and capacity<br />

utilization?<br />

We produce color chart, special box and folders. If the sizes<br />

are not very big, lots of products yield from our machines<br />

as very series and clean. We get orders of many brands in<br />

remarkable numbers and we deliver fastidiously.<br />

The production consists of 3 different lines including automatic<br />

machine section, handloom with which nonstandard<br />

special works are made and fabric section.. We can produce<br />

daily on average 6000 color charts and folders, nearly 4000<br />

cardboards. As for the handloom production, we make the<br />

products featuring cutting-edge, floc covered interior, magnet<br />

or the products which are not produced via machine. At<br />

the fabric section, generally we prepare fabric color-charts<br />

for home textiles. Here the products come as roll and output<br />

as finished. And processes such as roll, overcast, waterfall,<br />

strapping, labeling and mounting.<br />

Would please brief about your current export<br />

markets and targeting markets?<br />

As every firm that oriented on growth, we also try to boost<br />

our share in the market with every passing day. We make<br />

works very well with lots of brands both in the home and<br />

firms abroad. In fact, handmade intensive packaging in our<br />

country are costed cheaper than many countries, for these<br />

reason there is a noteworthy gap in the exports, we can be<br />

able to produce high in quality products and actually not<br />

being expensive in terms of their quality and of course we<br />

want to emerge our this side and achieve bigger businesses<br />

in the all alternative markets.<br />
