SLEEP WELL
Sleeping well on a consistent basis is
very important. According to Penn State
researchers, the stress of losing a job can
make a person have sleepless nights and
insomnia. Therefore, it is a good idea to
exercise as this will help you sleep better.
According to a study that was published
in the Sleep Medicine journal, people
with inactive lifestyle who took part in a
6-month long exercise program fell asleep
more quickly at night, has better quality
sleep and felt more rested in the morning
than they did before commencing the
program. Their depression and anxiety
levels also fell.
FORM HEALTHY HABITS
It can be a good idea to keep water handy
while you polish your resume. A study
carried out by the University of Illinois
showed that those who drank more water
than other beverages ate fewer calories.
So, prepare a healthy lunch at night, just
like you did when you were still employed.
Also remember to include high protein
snacks like hard boiled eggs, nuts, and
jerky. Eat healthy food and avoid junk food
by all means.
YOUR PARTNER’S COOKING
Despite bringing happiness, living
together also brings many problems such
as “dietary convergence” phenomenon. If
you find a housemate who is a broccoli nut,
then this could be good. However, it is not
great if she is a person who enjoys eating
and eats too much. When she prepares
delicious meals, you may feel the love and
end up eating too much. This love could
end up around your waist. Many men gain
3-4 pounds after marriage. The same is
true for unmarried couples living together.
How can you lose weight when you have a
partner who cooks delicious meals?
