FILMING LOCATION<br />

Ojukheon House should be listed on<br />

your travel list in Gangeung. It was<br />

built in the 15th century and remains<br />

one of the oldest wooden residential<br />

buildings in Korea. The House was<br />

designated as Treasure No. 165 in<br />

1963 and has been maintained by<br />

the descendants throughout the<br />

generations.<br />

Ojukheon attracts visitors with its<br />

unique architectural style that is<br />

typical of Sout Korea, providing<br />

insights into its historical values<br />

and daily lifestyle while also serving<br />

as a museum displaying special<br />

antiquities. Ojukheon is also the<br />

birthplace of two important figures<br />

on Korean currency notes, the 50,000<br />

won note and 5,000 won note. One<br />

is Shin Saimdang, a famous painter<br />

and calligrapher, and the other, her<br />

son Yulgok Yi Yi, a great scholar,<br />

philosopher and politician.<br />
