Figure 26 shows the location of seniors<br />

recreation programs <strong>in</strong> Toronto,<br />

neighbourhoods with the largest population<br />

of seniors and percentage of the total<br />

population <strong>in</strong> each neighbourhood that<br />

are aged 65 and over. As shown, some<br />

neighbourhoods <strong>in</strong> the <strong>in</strong>ner suburbs with<br />

large populations of seniors have relatively<br />

few recreation program sites compared<br />

to other neighbourhoods. It is also<br />

important to consider whether areas with<br />

grow<strong>in</strong>g numbers of seniors are expand<strong>in</strong>g<br />

recreation programs sufficiently to meet<br />

<strong>in</strong>creased need.<br />
