AND PERMITTED TEMPORARY DEPOTS AND<br />
STORAGE FACILITIES<br />
Under Clause 7(3)(a) and Clause 8(3)(a) of the<br />
Canterbury Earthquake (Resource Management Act<br />
Permitted Activities) Order 2011<br />
Despite anything to the contrary in the Christchurch City Plan, the activities listed below<br />
are permitted activities in the specified locations if they comply with the prescribed<br />
standards:<br />
1. ACTIVITY: Office accommodation<br />
LOCATION: 55 Jack Hinton Drive, Addington<br />
APPLICANT: Vbase Limited<br />
REFERENCE NO: RMA/<strong>2016</strong>/2024<br />
STANDARDS:<br />
1. <strong>The</strong> activity must proceed in general accordance with the information submitted<br />
to the Council on 26 July <strong>2016</strong>, and in various emails up to 3 August <strong>2016</strong> further<br />
detailing operating parameters.<br />
2. <strong>The</strong> two portacom buildings shall be removed from the site within one month of<br />
the staff relocating to their new premises, but no later than 30 April 2018.<br />
2. ACTIVITY: Laydown/storage area<br />
LOCATION: 2 Farnborough Street, Aranui<br />
APPLICANT: Viggins Contractors Christchurch<br />
REFERENCE NO: RMA/<strong>2016</strong>/2224<br />
STANDARDS:<br />
1. <strong>The</strong> activity must proceed in general accordance with the information submitted<br />
to the Council on the 15 August <strong>2016</strong>.<br />
2. <strong>The</strong> location of the port-a-loo is to be set back at least 1.8m from any boundary<br />
between the applicant site and the adjoining residential properties.<br />
3. With the exception of the location of the activity, the activity must comply with<br />
the relevant general Standards for Permitted Temporary Accommodation and<br />
Temporary Depots and Storage Facilities under Clause 7 (3) (a) and Clause 8<br />
(3) (a) of the Canterbury Earthquake (Resource Management Act Permitted<br />
Activities) Order 2011, contained in the public notice issued by the Council on<br />
23 October 2013 (depots and storage facilities).<br />
4. <strong>The</strong> activity will cease on or before Friday, 14 October <strong>2016</strong>.<br />
<strong>The</strong> general Standards for Permitted Temporary Accommodation and Temporary Depots<br />
and Storage Facilities can be viewed on the Temporary Accommodation page of the<br />
Council’s website at www.ccc.govt.nz/tempaccomm.<br />
Any temporary activity established under these provisions shall not create or give rise<br />
to any existing use right in respect of any land, activity, or structure (refer clause 5 (3)<br />
of the Canterbury Earthquake (Resource Management Act Permitted Activities) Order<br />
2011).<br />
