WELLNESS<br />
<strong>Floyd</strong> <strong>County</strong> became even more focused on employee wellness in <strong>2017</strong> with the opening of an employee<br />
health clinic. Through a partnership with Redmond Regional Medical Center, <strong>Floyd</strong> <strong>County</strong> employees and their<br />
families who are insured through the <strong>County</strong>’s insurance policy can receive basic medical care and a selection<br />
of prescriptions at no cost to the employee.<br />
The annual <strong>Floyd</strong> <strong>County</strong> employee health fair held in December gave employees the opportunity for many<br />
health screenings at no charge. Vendors and medical specialists were also on hand to answer questions and<br />
provide information on specific services.<br />
<strong>Floyd</strong> <strong>County</strong>’s employee wellness program encourages all employees to focus on their health.<br />
