Amsterdam is renowned as one of the<br />
most cosmopolitan and liberal cities<br />
in <strong>Europe</strong>. It has a broad cultural<br />
appeal and during the year hosts<br />
a great deal of international events<br />
and over 300 festivals covering a<br />
wide range of genres from outdoor<br />
film showings to dance events<br />
lasting several days. From festivals<br />
for children to art and fashion,<br />
culinary events to music concerts.<br />
From festivals celebrating the tulip<br />
to bi-annual boat shows. The range<br />
is wide and diverse. Most popular<br />
are the Kings Festival, the Festival<br />
of Lights, TheGranchtenfestival and<br />
Gay pride. For art lovers, there is<br />
always a collection to excite and<br />
amaze, including Dutch Masters<br />
from the Hermitage collection<br />
including some exquisite Rembrandts<br />
alongside a variety of rare works of<br />
art. It promises to be a breathtaking<br />
exhibition. Conferences, keynotes,<br />
various exhibitions and networking<br />
events take place regularly and all<br />
over Amsterdam. The main congress<br />
and convention centre is the RAI,<br />
one of the largest business centres<br />
in <strong>Europe</strong> which hosts more than 50<br />
events throughout the year including<br />
car shows, fashion displays,<br />
equestrian events, sporting and<br />
cultural events. There are a number<br />
of restaurants including a city beach<br />
for those wishing to <strong>com</strong>bine business<br />
with pleasure.<br />
A spectacular water sports event not to<br />
be missed. A huge display of boats and<br />
nautical accessories featuring cuttingedge<br />
innovation and design. Exhibitors<br />
will be presenting boats of all shapes<br />
and sizes from classic ships to modern<br />
cruising boats, offering workshops and<br />
interesting programmes.<br />
A fantastic experience and a national<br />
holiday where there are only two rules:<br />
wear orange and have a great time at<br />
one of the largest and most colourful<br />
festivals in Amsterdam. With activities<br />
of all kinds throughout the city such as a<br />
huge open-air market, art exhibitions and<br />
