CHARITY CHAMPION<br />
Rochdale’s singing jeweller, John Alexander,<br />
has always wanted to sing but only took it up<br />
seriously around five years ago.<br />
During this time his voice had helped to raise<br />
many thousands of pounds towards worthwhile<br />
causes throughout the Borough. Facebook has<br />
helped to raise his profile and some of you may<br />
have seen the posts of his performances<br />
recorded in his own living room at home.<br />
If you haven’t, they are extremely entertaining<br />
and worth a look.<br />
In November, John was presented<br />
with Rochdale Man of the Year 2017<br />
in recognition of his remarkable<br />
fundraising work.<br />
