Musée de la
photographie
L’histoire de Madagascar est enseignée dans
les petites classes pour que dès l’enfance,
nous puissions tout connaître de nos origines.
Dorénavant, le parcours passionnant de
notre chère île tant convoitée, depuis la pré
colonisation jusqu’à l’indépendance, sera raconté en
images, des images rares qui jalonnent le parcours
unique de Madagascar. Les photographies sont
exposées à Anjohy Antananarivo, à la Maison Maire,
depuis le 14 Février dernier. Le musée a été baptisé
Musée de la Photographie de Madagascar. Une
adresse immanquable lors d’une escapade en ville !
Ce projet novateur a vu le jour en 2013 à l’initiative
d’une professeure d’histoire, Helihanta Rajaonarison, d’un
mécène belge, Cédric Donck et d’un photographe amateur,
Tsiry Solofomihanta. Il a pour objectif de sauvegarder
notre patrimoine photographique et de le partager au grand
public. Chacun, simples citoyens, étudiants, chercheurs
ou touristes peut y venir chercher la part manquante de
l’histoire de l’île.
Toutes ces images sont également consultables en ligne,
via Facebook ou le site Internet du musée.

Photography
The history of Madagascar is taught in
small classes so that from childhood we
can know everything about our origins.
From now on, the fascinating journey
of our dear coveted island, from precolonisation
to independence, will be told in images,
rare images that punctuate the unique course of
Madagascar. The photographs have been exhibited
in Anjohy Antananarivo, at the Maison Maire, since
February 14th. The museum was named Museum of
Photography of Madagascar. An unmissable address
during a city break!
This innovative project was launched in 2013 at the
initiative of a history teacher, Helihanta Rajaonarison, a
Belgian patron, Cédric Donck and an amateur photographer,
Tsiry Solofomihanta. It aims to safeguard our photographic
heritage and share it with the general public. Everyone,
ordinary citizens, students, researchers or tourists can come
to find the missing part of the history of the island.
