EgoKiefer with innovative
XL ® window technology
EgoKiefer XL ® windows are available in large-area dimensions including
module systems up to fl oor height, without size affecting statics and stability
under wind load or the rigidity of the glass panel below, making them the
perfect choice for the AFG Corporate Center.
EgoKiefer window technology for up to 15% more light.
MORE LIGHT, LESS HEAT LOSS
EgoKiefer XL ® windows are made of
exclusive EgoKiefer EgoVerre ® highperformance
insulating glass. This
improves thermal insulation, thus reducing
heating energy consumption dramatically.
The new EgoVerre ® Top triple-pane glazing
has an absolutely sensational thermal
insulation capacity of Ug 0.4 W/m 2 K.
A true record! The insulation glazing
EgoVerre ® is glued directly into the sash
during XL ® window manufacture, using
a gluing technology tried-and-tested in
aircraft construction. EgoKiefer is the
fi rst manufacturer of windows and doors
to ever put this technology to an industrial
use.
New dimensions in facade design
The EgoKiefer window technology XL ®
also opens up new opportunities with
regard to attractive facade design: when
mounted, the glass glued directly onto
the casement makes for extremely narrow
profi le views and a bigger window area
as well as a completely new facade look,
which adds to the attractivity of the AFG
